Deandra Clarke, a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, has been dancing professionally for over 23 years and working in dance education for more than 16. Her performance credits include work with artists such as Ne-Yo, Alicia Keys, and Hilary Duff, as well as appearances on the Disney Channel. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Dance at the University of Richmond, where she teaches Hip Hop History. Deandra is also the owner of Studio 4 Dance Agency and the founder of the Virginia Dance Awards. In addition to her teaching and entrepreneurial work, she is an active freelance choreographer, dance agent, and dance advocate. She continues to champion the growth of the local dance community through volunteer work across Virginia, including serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Dogtown Dance and as a member of the advisory board for the Virginia Commission for the Arts. This summer, Deandra is expanding her talents working as the Choreographer for two musicals: “Strange Loop” and “SpongeBob - The Musical”.
